Nails Inc Belgrave Place & The Mall

Good afternoon, Dear Reader!

I got a package from my friend Susi this morning, who'd recently returned from London.  She sent me Nails Inc Belgrave Place and The Mall, two especially fabulous Nails Inc nail polishes, and so I wanted to show them to you.

Belgrave place is a blurple creme in the bottle, but dried more blue.  I used two coats out of habit - one would have been sufficient.  This is dry with a base and top coat.

Then I wanted to try out The Mall - it's one I've wanted for a long time.  It was also good in one coat, but I added a second.  This is also with a base and top coat.

Chanel Rouge Noir & Orange Fizz

Good morning, Dear Reader!

Today I have two nail polishes to show you that have little in common other than that they're both Chanel cremes, Rouge Noir and Orange Fizz.  I've showed you Rouge Noir before, bur it's a favorite so here it is again.

I wore Rouge Noir earlier this week because I just needed a break from all the brights and pastels of the season, and it's the anti-bright.  This is two coats in strong sunlight.

Ain't she a beaut?  I know there are many cousins and dupes to Rouge Noir, but non I've found have quite the same finish.

Yesterday afternoon I switched to the seasonally appropriate Orange Fizz, a pale ornage that's not too pale or pastel at all.  This is two coats in moderate sun.

This one's another keeper for me.  I think I just really love Chanel nail polish - if it's a color I like, I'm bound to love Chanel's version of it.

Unleash the Beast

Hey all! Today is my friend Shack's birthday! He turned OLD. (well, that happened a long time ago, but that's a different story), Well here's the thing about Shack, he drinks Monster Energy Drink, and not just a little, he drinks multiple cans per day, in addition to about 2 or 3 venti Starbucks a day. Crazy thing is, he doesn't even vibrate!! (though I'm sure his fiance would like it if he did, lol) So today, in honor of Shack's (whose real name is Mike, but goes by his nickname), birthday, I did Monster nails! :) Happy Birthday SHACK!!! :)



I used American Apparel Hassid as a base, with American Apparel Cotton as a base for the Monster logo, then I used Color Club Volt of Light on top of that for the green logos, with Color Club What a Shock! for shading. For the blue logo, I used Color Club Pure Energy, then mixed a tiny bit of American Apparel Hassid with it to shade. Topped everything off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.
